Jacques Choucair

Dr Jacques Choucair is an Infectious diseases consultant in Hotel Dieu de France teaching hospital in Beyrouth affiliated to the Saint Joseph University, School of Medicine. He graduated from The Saint Joseph University in Beyrouth and from the University of Paris VII faculty of Medicine and University of Paris V, faculty of Pharmacy. Since December 2018, he is the head of division of the Infectious diseases department at Hôtel Dieu de France de Beyrouth teaching hospital and an associate professor of Medicine at the Saint Joseph School of Medicine. He also has a Medical Teaching diploma from the University of Montreal in Canada in 2003. He published more than 40 articles and is a reviewer in international journals. His main topics of interest are bacterial resistance and the proper use of antibiotics.He is member of the scientific committee of the Lebanese Society of Infectious Diseases, member in the Arab association for the proper use of antibiotics, member of the international Society of Infectious Diseases, and member of ESCMID.
